Hooooly crap.

Okay so I'm walking home and I notice this unmarked van is following me. Once I realize it really is and it isn't just some fluke or whatever I tried to cut through an alleyway so it couldn't, but another van just blocked me down there.

Then a bunch of guys who look like generic bank robbers came out and told me to duel them or resist and they'll zap me with tasers. So I just went ahead and dueled them and the guy made some weird-ass wire attach to my disk. They didn't even give me any reason for it, either!

I won even though I was freaked out that if I ever had more than one monster out I was gonna be hit by a damn Laval Golem, and when I won the guy was electrocuted by his own disk. He literally just lit up from it!

Those guys literally were going to try to electrocute me or something! What the hell kinda crap is made nowadays that they'd even have something like that?

I think those are pretty old actually.

I mean, they seem kind of lame. I've heard of versions that shock you everytime you take damage.

They're stupid, why would anyone use those.

Just that it was a pretty large group. They all wore masks, like bank robbers. And they all had tasers. Main one who dueled me was a guy, at least, I can say that much. Just no real descriptions past that.

The van itself was basically completely unmarked. It was too dark to tell any sort of colors though to it.

Regardless of which, it was dangerous. They didn't say anything about why they were following me or not-- but I think they kinda aimed to incapacitate me.

I'll keep my eyes on this.

Not at all. They didn't say a word about what they really wanted.

They just gave me two choices: Resist, and it will be painful for everyone, or duel, and it will be. Less painful.

I wanted to just blast them all but I didn't want to try my luck with all of them having tasers with them. At least I got to hit the main guy.

I see... I'm glad it ended so well, at least.

It was still really weird that it even happened... and really who the hell duels with something that electrocutes them when they lose?

That guy literally just lit up. I mean, I know it's December now, but I don't think that's what one thinks of when Christmas decorations are mentioned.

Maybe I should try to go find them. It'd save money on decorating the place.

Take care of two birds with one stone at least.

Save money on decorations with someone stupid enough to light themselves up like that, and it gets them off the streets, resulting in general public safety for all.

... It might. Whatever that wire crap was, the voltage was obviously enough that it would've knocked anyone out.

Well it does seem to fit. But if it is, why are they taking so many people...? As far as I can see, their targets have been completely random. No connections or similarities between the people that I can find.

I'm glad I did too. I guess I can see why some people wouldn't be so lucky though.

I'm just fortunate that I knew a Lava Golem would have been coming. If I was too hasty I would've been screwed.
