Well geeze, I tried to go around Domino for some duels, yesterday, I get to see the park get torn to hell and back instead.

Looked like a duel was going on there, too. A lot of people were yelling, too... While vines seemed to be ripping the ground apart.

I didn't get to see what was really going on, though. Common sense told me to stay the hell away.

... Probably a good thing I did. Heard something about it possibly some sort of attack.

... I never did get to get many of those duels.

...park ripped up, you say?

...glad I got my duel with Tori in when I did...

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, looked like a real mess. Earth all over the place. Trees ripped out. Giant vines. Looked like the evironment finally decided to take a stand!

... And I don't think I know you.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
Quite possibly not. I've become a bit of a hermit in my old age, I think. Don't get out as much as I used to.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
... Yeah, definitely don't know you. Who are you?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
I am the man in pink. Isn't that enough?

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Nah. Makes me suspicious!

Besides, what kinda guy would go and be wearing pink, anyway?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
This kind.

The kind that really doesn't care... did for a bit, but caring less and less now.

Did I mention they're frilly? Frilly and pink. Wonderful shirts... missed having them.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
If you cared less, you wouldn't have randomly gone and commented on some stranger's journal, you realize.

Why wouldn't you have had them? They all get burnt or something? Shredded?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that's boredom there. Very pervasive, you know.

Something like that. Someone actually bought my clothes, once. Right off my back. At least she looks cute in them.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well nice to know that I'm something for boredom, then.

And was this before or after the rest of your clothes may or may not have gotten ruined?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Hopefully, anyway. We still have to see on that.

After. One got shredded, if I recall... maybe it was when I got that hole put in my side... no, that was before. After that I had something shred it... then I lost one to really bad grease stains.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
... A hole in your side? Sounds painful.

Though why'd you go and sell your own shirt if you were running out of them? You strapped for cash?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
It rather was. Took a week or so to heal. It was a gap at least the size of a fist, after all.

No, rather forced to. Or rather, someone else sold it. They were selling quite a few things then. Bought one guy's gender. Pity it wasn't something more useful, but what can you do, you know?

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
... And it took a week to heal? And it was a gap? Shouldn't you have been in the hospital, or something like that?!

... You can buy people's genders?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Don't really have much for hospitals at DA... though the infirmary is fairly well equipped. Might have been better, though... the bloodstains were hell to get out.

Apparently.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
... You sure you're not just pulling my leg, here?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm very sure. But of course, you aren't. Which makes it all the more fun.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
People don't usually recover from something like getting a fist-sized hole in the side, especially in a week.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Not without some sort of super science, or super human abilities, one would think.

That, or really, REALLY good genes. Probably designer brand.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
And it was my ray gun. :Db

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Honey, don't give me credibility now.

I want to have flexibility to go off on some tangent sometime.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
... Sounds like a bad science fiction movie.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Not even those silly designer clothes would save you!

Though really. You pulling my leg or what? It's hard to believe that you might've recovered from something like that. Unless if you're technically still recovering.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
No, the latest thing I'd be recovering from would be... Setsu? Seems like there's been more since then.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
Handy little thing. Sort of a pet for my wife there.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
... So, what, a dog attacked you or something?

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
... Cat? Wolf? Mountain lion?

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
... Yeah, you're definitely pulling my leg, there.

A robot made of ice wouldn't exactly work. Unless if it was in an arctic environment with a self-cooling device, it'd melt before anything, if it'd even work in the first place.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly, I don't really understand it myself.

But the ice never seems to melt, even in the tropical heat.

...of course, there ARE ways to make it work that way, but why invest the overhead?

The only thing I can think of is that ice was the only material really available, so why not waste the energy to make it able to travel anywhere?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
...I was TRYING to avoid the 'm word'.

Though, I guess this means you're back to normal?

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 01:00 pm (UTC)(link)
... Supernatural is one thing.

"Magic" sounds like just a cop-out. It's no wonder you'd go and avoid it!

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Supernatural, magic, it's pretty much the same thing.

[identity profile] remarkablerain.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Not to me.
