*At Flamvell, Suguru is sighing, sitting at the bar.

There's an opened envelope and letter, and she's glancing through multiple pictures that you'd assume came with said letter.

Her expression is... she looks like she wants to be mad or sad, or even relieved, but she's not sure which one to really settle on, at this point. So instead she just resorts to another, loud sigh.*

at least the kid looks like he's being raised alright. he looks happy in the pictures. He looks about... 3-ish now?

also you're at least 99% certain that is actually a boy.*

"Your pops doing alright too?"

He plays with a bit of your hair.

...not going to take a bet on the gender of the kid, considering the last few years.

Yeah. He sounds like he's doing fine.

*she shows one of the pictures where he shows up-- a man who obviously is the Samasu of the family, with olive colored eyes. He's holding up the kid by the arms and obviously playing around with him.*

"Oh, good." He smiles slightly, looking through the pictures.

"...He's cute. He just trying to keep ya in the loop?"

Yeah, basically. He went out of his way to repeatedly assure me in the letter that Soran's definitely a boy, saying that he's fine, that mom hasn't been too nuts...

But that he kinda wishes I could actually be there to be around him, too. But he gets why I'm not. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

"Right, right, yeah.

...Wanna go visit 'em soon? Or at least return the favor in pictures?"

*she gives a laugh, but she sighs again*

I dunno if I could handle being there again. Being around mom again. I made it pretty clear I never wanted to see her again, so this... I dunno, it makes it really awkward.

... But we can do pictures.

"Hey, maybe your dad's open to scheming and we can just get him and your brother to visit."

Waves a hand. "Up to ya. Ain't gonna force anything, 'cept pictures. I got enough cameras for somethin' pretty good."

Heh, I guess you do right now.

I can try to see if he'd be up to visiting. I don't mind him so much-- he was never really the problem. I'm just worried about how mom might react to him vanishing off with Soran, but... ah, well, worth a try.

Besides, he'd probably love a chance to judge the place. Did I ever tell you he owns a restaurant?

"Huh? Really?"

He stares blankly and looks around. This place? Judged by someone who knows what they're doing?

"Oh my god, yeah, we'll invite him when we send the pictures and see about bringing Soran too."

Sounds like a possible plan.

I... Just sorta hope it works out, you know? It'd be kinda nice to see them.

"We can make it work out, I promise."

*... she laughs again, putting her arms around Geo*

"Hey, anything's possible if we're working together on something, right?"

He produces his phone and slightly clumsily takes a picture of the moment.

*she was mid-giggle so it's at least a DECENT spur of the moment picture, just clumsy*

Psh, warn me next time!

...well, some of it, I don't think he should get dozens of pictures of us working or veg-ing out."
